I had a mixed experience at Hotel Mercure Milano Centro. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Milan. but the room I stayed in felt quite cramped and dated. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. however, the breakfast options left much to be desired.

My room was small and under the roof, which made it feel claustrophobic at times. The lack of an elevator to the fourth floor was inconvenient with luggage. The air conditioning was managed only by staff, which was frustrating, as I couldn’t control the temperature myself.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. they provided a warm welcome upon my arrival and helped suggest local options, but had no flexibility about a late check-out which was disappointing.

The location was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. just a minute from the metro and a pleasant 15-minute walk to the Duomo, with plenty of restaurants and shops around. It couldn’t have been more convenient.
